    Dr. Farmer

    Dr. Stephane Farmer is a 1995 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.  Knowing that she wanted to be a veterinarian from an early age, Dr. Farmer enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and treating diseases as well as helping people protect the health of their beloved companions.  After numerous years of performing emergency medicine, Dr. Farmer decided to open Perky Paws Pet Hospital with the goal of bringing her confident, compassionate bedside manner to both patients and clients.  Her commitment to animal care is enforced with memberships of the Texas, American, Collin County, and Dallas Veterinary Medical Associations.  Outside of protecting and treating patients, Dr. Farmer enjoys road cycling, travel, cooking and playing with her three male cats Beano, Chowda, and Gus.

    Audrey - Technician

    Audrey has been an invaluable Perky Paws team member since she began working here in 2006.  She brings with her seventeen years of experience in the veterinary field from technician to office manager.  While at the clinic, Audrey assists Dr. Farmer with appointments, cares for our boarding pets, schedules surgeries and appointments amongst other things. Audrey loves working with owners in critical situations to ensure a positive outcome for their pets as well as surgeries.  When not caring for your pets, Audrey enjoys reading, walking, movies, playing with her grandson and caring for her two dogs, Luke and Falco. 

  • Shannon - Practice Manager

    Shannon - Practice Manager

    Shannon  joined the Perky Paws team in June 2011 as our practice manager.  She brings with her eight years of experience from working exclusively with felines in Chicago to small animal work in Springfield, Illinois to managing a small animal practice in Chicago, Illinois.  Shannon loves educating clients on wellness care as well as keeping our hospital running efficiently.  When not tending to Perky Paws, Shannon enjoys reading, writing, running, Russian literature, and spending time with her three cats, Levi, Muzzy and Timmy.
